National Coal Mining Museum

A visit to the National Coal Mining Museum offers pupils a unique opportunity to see and feel at first hand what life was like at the coalface and to find out about the communities that grew up around the industry.

I programmed four separate hands-on interactives for the site which children use to learn more about signalling, ventilation, water data and how the pumps are powered. These involved creative gameplay and animation to involve the children in learning while playing.
